Somali pirates have killed 4 americans they had hijacked off the coast of Oman, US officials said in a statement.
The yacht was hijacked on Friday.
The US navy said it responded to fire coming from the yacht and as they approached they found all 4 hostages were killed.
4 pirates were killed in the process and 15 captured
The yacht S/V Quest, hijacked on Friday, was owned and sailed by Scott and Jean Adam of California.
